Synthesis

Hands are one of the most symbolically expressive members of the body. Across various cultures the hands signify power, protection, divinity, healing, strength and providence. The hands covering over the other hand represents each protecting and caring for the other. The seven multi-hued hands are a representation of the diversity of our blackness providing strength for the other. The significance of seven represents security, safety, rest, plenty, reintegration and synthesis.  For those who view this work it is my intention that you find strength, healing and safety on your journey.
