Synthesis

Hands are one of the most symbolically expressive members of the body. Across various cultures the hands signify #power, #protection, #divinity, #healing, #strength and #providence. The hands covering over the other hand represents each protecting and caring for the other.

The seven multi-hued hands are a representation of the diversity of our blackness providing strength for the other. The significance of seven represents #security, #safety, #rest, #plenty, #reintegration and #synthesis. For those who view this work it is my intention that you find strength, healing and safety on your journey.
