Burchfield Penney Documentary Series: The Process

Earlier this year, I was honored to be chosen by Buffalo State University's Communication Department to feature in the captivating Burchfield Penney Art Center documentary series, "Process: WNY Artists." Throughout the production journey, I had the pleasure of collaborating with some remarkable students who beautifully captured my artistic narrative.

Witnessing the final culmination of this endeavor stands as a true pinnacle in my life's journey. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Professor Meg Knowles for skillfully overseeing this project, and my sincere thanks to Tiffany Gaines for her recommendation that led to this wonderful opportunity. A special acknowledgment goes to the talented Buffalo State University Media Production majors: Janae Martin, Dominique Moore, and Autumn Benedict. Their dedication was truly exceptional, as demonstrated by their earnest interest and even crafting a paper to express their eagerness to bring my story to life.

Mark your calendars for September 8th, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., when the Burchfield Penney Art Center's anticipated 2nd Friday event will take place. As part of this remarkable evening, a select collection of the "best of" Process: WNY Artists videos will be showcased, featuring a short film spotlighting my artistic journey. Join me and fellow artists for an engaging Q&A session following the screening, as we delve into our experiences and insights.
