  • Philadelphia FIGHT 1233 Locust Street Philadelphia United States (map)
2020-09-18 (3).png

I will be one of the exhibiting artist at this years Justice, Reentry and Healthcare Summit hosted by Philadelphia FIGHT. This conference welcomes all who are interested in learning more about the impact of mass incarceration and health disparities in our communities. I will be briefly speaking on a portrait I created of Mr. Veronza Bowers Jr., former member of the Black Panther Party incarcerated in federal prison for over 46 years, making him one of the longest held inmates in U.S. history.

This informative virtual experience will consist of a series of talks, webinars, and conversations that:

- Unite relevant topics and key figures to ignite thought and action around advocacy, justice and empowerment for those impacted by social injustice and mass incarceration.

- Explore innovative approaches to the criminal justice issues facing our society.

- Provide opportunities for attendees to engage in local and national advocacy work.
