Journey to Freedom: The Life of Harriet Tubman Art Exhibition

BUFFALO, NY, February 1st, 2020. Buffalo's Own presents a unique exhibition featuring the works of local artists. The exhibition will be located at the Urban Art Gallery ,1500 Clinton Street, Buffalo, NY February 1st-March 8th,2020. Opening reception February 1st from 6:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M.

The Journey to Freedom is an art exhibition of nearly 20 large format artworks of various mediums and perspectives by featured artists: Jalen A. Law, Jay Hawkins, Lisa Brown, Shantelle Patton, Camilla Hobbs Lee and Doretha Edwards. This is a three-part exhibit that documents the life of Harriet’s childhood, adulthood and elderhood. Food and refreshments will be served. This event is free to the public.
